EMU Historic Preservation Program annual reunion/reception at the National Trust for Historic Preservation Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The reception is being held in conjunction with the National Council for Preservation Education Annual Faculty, Student, and Alumni reception and will take place Friday, October 24 from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at the historic Mayo Hotel in downtown Tulsa, 115 West 5th Street, conveniently located just a few blocks from the conference center and between the two conference hotels. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mayo_Hotel

The Eastern Michigan University Foundation is very generously sponsoring this reception.



The PE Fall Network Mixer will be in Monroe on Saturday, November 8. The folks at the Monroe Historical Society are handling everything: food, professional guests, and exclusive tours of the museum.

Inaugural Reception

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Chapter held its inaugural event, a reception at the new University House (President’s residence) on the EMU campus, on October 20, 2003.  We were the first Alumni group to have the privilege of hosting an event in the University House.  A variety of delicious appetizers and beverages were served, courtesy of the EMU Foundation, the Office of Alumni Relations, and the College of Arts and Sciences.  The highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the HPA logo.  Other high points included speeches by EMU President Samuel Kirkpatrick, Preservation Program Director Ted Ligibel, and a tour of the University House.
