The Historic Preservation Alumni Chapter of the
Eastern Michigan University Alumni Association was officially chartered on September 6, 2003. 



The Chapter was formed by graduates of the EMU Preservation program who wanted a more formal method of keeping in touch with other alumni of the program.

Chapter Mission:  

To provide a networking forum for past graduates of the program in order to support the professional activities and interests of members.

To advance preservation goals, and support and promote the continued advancement of the EMU Historic Preservation Program through the experience of alumni members.

Participation in other Chapter Events.
 
All Members have the right to vote at all general membership meetings on resolutions passed by the Board of Directors.
 
Members may also run for election to the Board of Directors.




Other goals: 

Small-scale preservation projects at various historic sites.
 
Sponsoring scholarships to send current students to preservation conferences - field school opportunities.
